Dear Parents and Families,
It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of one of our beloved security staff members, James Durant, on Tuesday evening, May 26.
For the past 15 years, he faithfully served our school community with dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. He will always be remembered for his jovial spirit, warm smile, and wonderful sense of humor that brightened the days of so many.
Mr. Durant was always willing to step in and serve our school in any capacity in which he was needed, never hesitating to help others. More than a staff member, Mr. Durant was a trusted friend to students, many parents, and all members of our staff. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to our school community.
During this difficult time, we ask that you keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. As a school family, we mourn this tremendous loss together and will forever cherish the impact he made on the lives of so many.
