MMBDA Celebrates Black History Month

Black History Month 2021 has arrived and our theme this year is The Black Family: Identity, Representation, and Diversity. Though we are celebrating virtually this year, we have planned a number of rich and meaningful events for our scholars and their families to celebrate!

Our Celebration is set to begin Wednesday February 3, 2020 at 4pm with an Opening Ceremony to celebrate our loved ones and honor our ancestors. We will begin with breathing exercises, learn about/and pour libations for our ancestors and loved ones we have lost, and end with "I AM" affirmations.
