Our program consisted of several performances from scholars with our music department, our music teacher Mr. Brockenberry, and our dance team. Scholar also read poems and personal letters to their mothers to celebrate them. Our guest speak, Dr. Bevadine Terrell spoke about the legacy of Mary McLeod Bethune as a mother, a philanthropist, and an educator. Our Female Staff Member of the Year Ms. Rolanda Little and our Mother of the Year Ms. Harris received gifts respectively.
