Dr. McKay received a message from Captain Bellavance from the School Safety and Engagement Division, MPD regarding an email threat made to several schools in DC.
The message stated:
We have not received any threats but we have proceeded with caution and have included sweeps to our facilities."Hello,I have already received emails and calls from some of you regarding this email threat. We sent the information over to our intel division to try and gather information and track the sender. From the distribution list, it looks like this was sent to a majority of schools in the district. From MPD's side we will investigate the threat and update you if we find anything. We are working with DCPS and charter heads to gather additional information. "
