Music

The Music program at Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy PCS is designed to combine music and literacy skills in order to solve real-world problems. The basis of instruction is music composition which transfers to all parts of musical skills including music theory, instrumental and vocal performance, and digital studio work.  The mission statement of MMBDA speaks of developing talent and social abilities. Through the creation of original music compositions and live performances of community service, the Music program aims to grow the "whole child" in their journey through the IB program.
